  The Truman Show 1998

  A staple in pop culture, finally got around to watching it. Pretty good. Vintage Jim Carrey performance. Can’t put my finger on it but felt like something was missing to really grab me. Not sure if it was spoiled in any way by kinda knowing what generally happens in it just through hearing/seeing references over the years.

  Must-watch film with lasting cultural impact, and I think I might be lower on it than most. Leo and Jonah Hill masterclass. First half of the movie is a 10/10, but then drags and falls off a bit. Still a classic.

  The final Denis Villeneuve film I had left to watch, and definitely saved the worst for last. Not even really sure what was going on here, almost like Memento without the final reveal. The best part was it was only 90 minutes.
