La Chimera 2023
Sometimes they do make em like they used to. I really felt a lot of Fellini in its approach and themes of the modern and ancient world colliding. I really wish every movie was simultaneously shot on Super 16, 16mm and 35mm.

The Zone of Interest 2023
Can’t stop thinking about it. Seems like something that could have easily come off as overly simplistic under a different director and script. Really masterfully shot in a way that’s devoid of warmth or typical cinematic feel. A perfect example of digital elevating a movie, as everything on screen feels so unmistakably modern.
