  What is a Coco? I still have yet to find out. Absolutely love this movie though. The music is incredible. The plot took a bit to fully engage me but was otherwise good. Cried once. Rewatched and cried again. Yo soy un pollo loco.

  The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023

  The lineup for voice actors is absolutely absurd. It’s a-me, Chris Pratt. I really enjoyed the references to multiple Mario games especially Mario Kart. Beginning felt a bit slow personally but the movie really picks up after that. Perchance.

  Paranormal Activity 2007

  Watched this at 1am in complete darkness with the door open, a half empty bottle of mango Snapple, and my toes off the bed with no covers. Unphased. The plot was fine but the movie itself wasn’t scary per say. Acting TBD and camera work was as expected for a 2007 found-footage film. Go next.

  The film relied too heavily on jump scares and some of the horror stuff was honestly pretty predictable (e.g. cat scene). The concept of being hunted by wide-grinning people is perhaps scary prior to the movie but you get almost too comfortable with/unphased by it by the end.
