Entertaining, but fell into the biopic trap of “character does some bad things and their life kinda changes because of it”. However this isn’t the main point in the plot, or what drives it, which is nice.

I knew nothing going in. There are too many plot points that are introduced and there wasn’t a lot of moving forward with the multiple lines. For a part 1 to work, especially for someone who hasn’t seen the broadway show, there needs to be a solid hook to get me to watch part 2.
