The Master 2012
Watched on 35mm and Prince Charles (long live the king). Packed screening and I was surprised at how many laughs various parts of this got that I found to be devastating/intimidating/sincere. Maybe a post-truth audience deriding an egomaniac that rings camp in the new world.
Longer than I remember and felt overlong at times, but realistically I could watch Joaquin vs PSH for days. Two superlative actors in superlative performances. What I would do to sit and take a shot of Freddie's hooch with the two of them. RIP PSH.
