Honestly, I was pretty impressed with the set productions for some of these strip-dances, especially the spider-web one.
Despite the exceedingly long strip-dance sequences and the uneven editing between scenes (especially for the first thirty minutes), I actually did find myself enjoying this stylistic crime thriller. A well-made reimagining of the classic horror film with more in-depth characterization (love the focus on Ellen in this one), killer cinematography (the visual of Nosferatu’s hand overtaking the whole town is literally screenshot-perfection), and a wonderfully creepy atmosphere through the whole movie.
Side-note, Lily-Rose Depp was so iconic in this but why the fuck did they giver her that fuck-ass wig 😭😭😭😭?!?!?!
