I don’t know if it’s cause I’m not Italian American, or if I’m just too gay, but this movie did not do anything for me. Probably would have been better without Nick Cage, but that can also probably be applied to all his movies.

Coffee and Cigarettes 2003
I put this on because I had insomnia and thought it would put me to sleep. It worked! But then in the morning I started it up from where I left off, and for some reason I kept watching until I finished. There were a couple of half-funny moments but ultimately it was pretty lame. Some of the shots were okay. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be bored or have some dumb background noise going.

This is a stunning film- absolutely beautiful. I cant say I understood everything that happened, nor can I say I didn’t get a bit bored at certain points, but ultimately the visuals and the care that went into crafting this story and the characters kept me interested.
