When the world is filled with so many forms of evil that make it difficult to know right from wrong, evil is rendered meaningless — no longer one monolithic power, but an all-pervading fog. And at that moment, you lift your gaze to the pale, endless sky, where nothing is good or bad. Only great, uncomprehending silence.
