'Asteroid City' by Wes Anderson is one of my favorite films ever made. The themes explored are deep and hard to understand, and this rewatch helped solidify the meaning of certain scenes I didn't understand on my first viewing. The Arrival 1996
harmless little sci-fi adventure story with some decent acting and effects. Some fun stuff in here for sure, and for just choosing a film at random turned out fairly fine. Nothing groundbreaking but a fair watch nonetheless. It's fun watching Sheen's character get driven literally insane by the events around him to the point that I sometimes didn't believe him myself (despite seeing everything he did)
I like the ending too, and it had a twist that I didn't see coming
