  A tour de force from my favorite Slovenian philosopher. There are some hot takes in this one, not all of which I agree with (the best way for a German heavy metal band to defeat fascism is to mimic its symbolism and iconography without any of the underlying genocidal intent, thereby reclaiming the hollow symbols that the third reich imbued with meaning…. okay, Žižek). Still, the application of philosophy and critical theory is deft. The cultural criticism is carefully considered.…
