Saltburn 2023
The party line seems to be that “there’s no there, there.” While I could be misjudging the filmmaker’s intent (I appreciate Fennell’s first entry less in retrospect and don’t dig her clear love of M. Night style third act twist drops) I do believe the whole point is to take in the form. With a soundtrack this killer and style this delicious, who gives a shit about substance?
