I don't want to know how many times I've seen this movie, to be quite honest. My parents, I think, unironically find it funny? I find it funny in an ironic sort of way, in large part just because of the amount of times I've been forced to sit through it. It's a so-bad-it's-good movie for me. Very 2012.

This movie was really, really funny. I wish it didn't treat a rape scene as on the same level as all the other goofy death scenes, but I'm just going to pretend that didn't happen. It is a terrible, horrible, very enjoyable movie. Probably intentionally a satire? And weirdly packed with plot. Anyway, it defies the star scale, so I'm forced to give it a two because there are exactly two teenage zombies present.

I don't know what to say about Over the Garden Wall except that it's fucking fantastic. I don't have that many traditions, but watching this every year around fall has become one. The first year, I watched it alone, and then immediately rallied a group of friends to watch it on…

I guess I have to give this movie 3 stars because we seek to put things into little boxes, but in reality The Creator is concurrently 1 star and 5 stars. It is large. It contains multitudes. Here's the thing: the effects were literally stunning. Not just in a technically impressive way, where they're objectively cool but still fucking stupid (looking at you, Avatar 2), but in a genuinely gorgeous and believable way. The visual world-building is to die for.…
