Left me wondering which is more important: love or dreams. As someone whose dream is to spend her life with a beloved one rather than chasing ambition, I’m still unsure whether achieving your dreams guarantees lifelong happiness. Maybe at first, yes, but I’m afraid there will come a time when you set a new dream and find yourself constantly chasing after something else, never truly attaining the ideal life. In the movie, they portrayed both as satisfied with their lives. I guess it all comes down to choice.

Çocukların rol aldığı filmlerde içimi saf duygular kaplıyor. Bu filmde de ilk 1 saatte her ne kadar savaş, dinin baskıcılığı, eğitim görmemiş insanların zor şartlar altında çalıştırılması, üst ve alt tabaka arasındaki keskin fark görülse de Toto’nun o sırada çocuk olması bu havayı tamamen yumuşatıyor. Onun verdiği çocuksu tepkiler, bizim de o yönden bakmamıza neden oluyor. Bir nevi ikinci yarıya hazırlık gibi.
