The Strangers 2008
little silly and lowkey disrespectful to the situation it’s based off but it’s a creepy time. i like the shots with the strangers in the background of the house when the main characters didn’t see them. this is prob gonna be the best “the strangers” movie tho

We're All Going to the World's Fair 2021
really loved how this was shot, the locations, coloring, and acting. the story is emgaging, with minimal dialogue. feels sorta like an arg come to life in a fucked up vicarious way. alex g original music too makes the droning still shots bearable. otherwise great

one of my favorite roles from nicolas cage! his acting was so off putting at first i thought it was bad then i just realized how socially fucked paul is. but yeah not really a horror movie, but a psychological thriller. highly recommend
