This is two movies cut into one film about the deeply tortured life of a musical genius, Brian Wilson.
The one with Paul Dano as the Beach BOY is a window into the buoyant purity of someone who's been "touched" (as an older musician tells him with respect and not a little sadness). The young Brian channels music as though he were a human tuning fork; a vessel for the musical vibrations coursing through him.

The Batman 2022
The Batman is a LONG ass movie. The Caped Crusader is pretty good, but the guy playing Bruce Wayne can't act. Paul Dano, however, is always worth the wait. And the Riddler's plot could have been hatched in Mar a Lago. Roman a clef, anyone?
