I usually prefer my horror pulpy and low budget, but this movie totally justified its budget and art house aesthetics. First half especially gripped me, and I especially appreciate that Thomas and Ellen (Jonathan and Nina) truly loved each other and suffered in a way that you don’t often see in horror.
