While nothing beats a good musical on Broadway, The 2024 Wicked movie allows the culture surrounding wicked to thrive. Cynthia Erivo gives the iconic green lead a new life, breathing her own personal flare to them. While I typically don’t like Ariana Grande and her music, Galinda felt very made for her in this film. One of the better movie musicals that I have seen in awhile.

The Batman 2022
The dark, grimy atmosphere this film brings is unmatched. A different style Batman we have been waiting to see. Definitely had points of eye rolls (joker’s appearance) but overall a great film!

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool for this film alone. Hugh Jackman coming back to play a grizzled Wolverine with full capabilities to use any language he wished was a relief. The two of them together makes for a marvel fans dream. The cameos and amount of backstory detailed in this film are great. Such a great way to bring the character into the MCU.

This movie is so much better than the first one. The production quality is a stark improvement over the first. You can tell that they had a better direction for Art in this film. The kill scenes are still quite gorey, but you can’t help but feel something for Sienna.
