A beautiful movie. Every shot feels like a still photo. The music supports the artistic vision excellently. The characterization can be done without words, and the movie uses sparse and powerful language to build the characters up. Heart-wrenching story. But illustrative of how life is and how our decisions guide us. Overall great movie.

Good:
- riverdale guy was amazing. Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore were good too.
- I liked the perspective of the story taking place many years later. Gave ability for the kids to have real roles. wish it explored the relationship with his kids moreBad
