  Likely the best movie I’ve seen all year. After watching a few films fall flat, Maestro achieves all it sets out to do. Bradley Cooper is a beast. Carey Mulligan deserves an Oscar. Maya Hawke will be Meryl Streep in 20 years.

  Visually? Stunning. Narratively? I was waiting for something to happen. I feel like I’m spoiled by the crazy plot twists of other movies, and this was a bit too expected. I’m not sure what the movie was trying to make me feel.
