    “YOU ARE A PATHETIC MOTHERFUCKER.”

PART ONE/TWO: DOUBLE FEATURE W/ HERETIC
    35MM SCREENING

    Beautiful. Mesmerizing. Choke-up worthy.
Anora is just the perfect encapsulation of going against the Hollywood’s dreamy backdrop. It’s dirty, rebellious, and most importantly: breaks down to the very core of an independent culture. A world where we’ve become so subdued to our own needs to the point where we will go to anyone to get them. It breaks us apart from our values. Everything we know is…

“Those that will tell don’t know, and those that know won’t tell.”

Interlinked. Humanity at its most upmost all the way to its most vulnerable. A heartbreak to the community. Incredibly painful, but strangely enough finds a place of comfort between one physicality with another, through such tragedies. An absolutely soulful experience.

    Spike Lee. Never stop.

Rest In Peace to anyone whom have been robbed of their lives to the injustices of the American “justice” system and by the disgusting individuals that control such authorities.

takes every ounce of grimy, slimey paranoia from carpenter’s the thing, improvises with sequences of anderson’s event horizon and flings an array of synths and hypersonic visuals to embrace the wild nature that is ash. feels like i’ve seen this fifty times before but i’ve never felt this before. flying lotus is going off the walls at all angles to really float this film to a finish line. there are bits that work and others that particularly…

    “I’ve been stirring your cream!”

    ”THAT MAKES US CUM BROTHERS!!!”

repression amongst the masses. turns your average bromance into the most vulnerable convictions of what one is feeling. i don’t know if i’m relating or not to anything that happened here. a complete overdrive on how i’ve ever interpreted my own being. all of this reduced into a film called by a ‘your mom’ joke. perhaps this is the reason i love the culture of these pieces. maybe i’ll…

    Tom & Jerry

It’s a movie called Tom & Jerry. Why in the absolute FUCK aren’t they the main characters? Instead, we get a bunch of half-assed hotel workers that were just incredibly dull and uninteresting and the production team ACTUALLY ((possibly)) thought we’d be interested in them.

Serious Question :: How do you manage to screw up a remake/reimagining of a series with the SIMPLEST PREMISE?! It is about a cat, and a mouse, and that’s it. Do I like watching Ken Jeong, Michael Peña,…

“I am not going to live like this.”

The Presence that carries itself through our corridors is the travesty that aligns us into a monument of grief and betrayal. There is a lot to dwell into here. Much more than I’d previously anticipated in fact. Keep your eye out for quite literally anything that Soderbergh is putting out ((if you aren’t already)). A glorious reminder of how we’ve taken these pieces for granted. I’m going to be watching this again. Being an overall great film, Presence is ((and particularly due to that climax)) one that I shall be reminiscing on for months beyond this night.
