The Silence 2019
Oh wow did this movie stink. Did you ever have an interesting idea for a movie and think to yourself “hey I should make a movie based on this interesting idea I had,” but you aren’t in the movie business so you don’t actually know how to make movies?? Well that’s what I think happened here. Was there a kernel of an interesting idea? Yes. Should you sink an hour and a half into watching this? No. Watch 2 of Tucci’s CNN specials about Italian food instead - much better use of your time.

A couple of cool dudes, and one cool chick, dealing with a serious dinosaur problem. Several of them have a real attitude problem. The kids aren’t as annoying as they could be. Movie perfection. Will watch 100 more times.

Two cool dudes doing time. Older cool dude teaches younger cool dude the ropes. Younger cool dude is a little snooty with a bit of an attitude problem. But, (he says) he didn’t do it and not everyone in prison is very nice to him so it’s understandable. Helped convince me I don’t want to be in prison.
