Hey what’s up I saw Airplane 1980 at the Revue, was my friend’s birthday and it’s a favourite movie of his, perfect. I had never seen this before, took some effort to understand how some of the social stereotype humour would have been progressive at the time.

Hey what’s up, saw this at TIFF Midnight Madness yesterday and the director and actors were there, opening night of the festival, amazing energy from the audience. Coralie Fargaet is GOAT for this one, I can’t wait to see what she does next. Screening sound was cranked, climax was deafening. This movie is an act of violence. All time great cinema experience, fuck yeah.

Godzilla Minus One 2023

Hey what’s up, Godzilla Minus One came up in conversation and I wanted to say, Godzilla and monster movies generally have not been my thing but this one I thought was such a beautiful film about pride and shame and war in mid century Japan. Knowing the action sequences were done on a relative shoestring budget adds to the heart. Amazing movie.
