The show was a masquerade of who Laura Palmer was. What she saw, what she witnessed, and what she may come to realize. The homecoming queen who secretly dealt with the agonizing trauma of violence, and abuse that etched her fate. As fans we all knew what was coming. Yet, we shakily approached the end. Breathing faster and becoming ridden with anxiety until her death.
