  Honestly, 3* for the screenplay (wow Chani and halfway Jessica are literally the only interesting characters). But +1 whole star for the production... except -.5 for the Nolanesque audio mixing (whoever realized you can make voice lines totally covered up by too-loud music by making them speak in a fictional language w/ subtitles, I hate you).

  But honestly kinda back up to 4* for personal reasons, being my first theater movie in 4 years. Woo masks and vaccines.

  So sweet. One of those movies that somehow manages to feel more real than real life. All of the people feel like real people. Favorite scenes: Lady Bird begging her mom to talk to her, her mom at the airport... but also so much good comedy.
