    When I first watched this a few weeks ago, I wasn’t sure what to think of it. There was simply too much to unpack in only one viewing. But after rewatching it, I can say with confidence that this is not only Lynch’s best, but one of the best films that I have ever seen.

    I don’t think I’ve ever taken a film for granted as much as I have with The Batman. I have always enjoyed it, but due to a multitude of reasons, namely me having little-to-no media literacy back when it released in 2022, the film slightly underwhelmed me upon its release unfortunately. Rewatching it however, with open eyes, was an absolute spectacle. Everybody understood the assignment given to them, and each executed their role perfectly.     Magical. An improvement over the original in every possible way. Only reason i’m holding back on giving this a perfect score is due to the amount of pop culture references it has, but that’s just me being a dick and nitpicking to be honest so ignore me. The pinnacle of Dreamworks Animations, and possibly on my Mount Rushmore of animated films in general. It doesn’t get much better than this.
