For a dog shit script and planks of wood for acting, I was pretty drawn in to this movie.
There was nothing original shown that was not already pioneered in better films...(Alien, The Thing, Evil Dead).
But I am a sucker for Suspiria styled lighting. Put a silhouette in front of any dark, red light and I will think it is top tier cinema.

For such a fun concept, the story was uncontained and everywhere. Some "subplots" would be introduced and then irrelevant to the story minutes later.
The scenes themselves were fun. Each one could have been its own movie in way. But it all felt disconnected.
Robbie Patty was a charm in it though and made it an enjoyable watch. Everyone else wasn't bad either but he carries the show with his dumb little accent.

I’m sure other movies have shown it better. But I enjoyed it a lot. Especially in its directorial style.
Handshaking camera movements and zooms as if you’re watching a documentary, small aspect ratio and 80’s looking TV footage. It presented 70’s-80’s big wig New York really nicely.
It framed the corruption in a bleak, somewhat disturbing way. But I liked it for that
