  To sum it up, this movie just felt like when you flirt with an artsy ethnic skater boy at the skate park and then have to be confronted by  his very white blonde girlfriend.

  As an avid fan of the all-Americana Virgin Suicides, I thought the Turkish version would be something I at least thought decent. 

  I didn’t. It shattered me whole. 

  This movie dug deep into all of the repressed and bottled-up Balkan girl anger and shame and overall existence. Nothing has hit this close to home and I absolutely love it. Can only rarely watch it or I will uncontrollably start shaking and crying.
