    ★★

Most versatile film I have seen a while.

It had jawan senti, aurat senti, kisan senti, healthcare senti, industrial poisoning senti, corruption senti, deshbhakt senti, and also said prisoners rights?? I was waiting for them to cover the water shortage but koi ni. They did so much already.

Wah yaar almost makes me want to vote for BJP to keep our society broken enough to have India’s richest people produce such all-encompassing, hard-hitting films.

The only thing I liked was that this movie basically said we need a Mahila Bandook Yojana. That I can get behind.

Very respectful and intimate camera work; deftly navigates the points between empathetic and cinematic. I hope they are all happy and well now.

The resolution of Dev’s moral failings occurs in the final few minutes of a film, when he is given a second lease on life after narrowly escaping a freak accident. Not only…
