The Mute Man of Sardinia 2021
This is a tricky one - I was really excited to watch a film in Sardo (Gallurese) given how little our language is represented and I really enjoyed that.
The cinematography is lovely and the landscapes, cultural representation and costumes I think are really well done. However the story is lacking a bit. I’m a bit over the Sardinian vendetta trope given I think we have a lot more to offer.
