  Adding this to the list of movies that left the theater so speechless at the end credits that nobody moved, they just sat in silence for like 5-10 minutes. 

  This film is perfect. Mikey Madison brings so much energy to this performance as this incredibly charming yet tragic protagonist. Honestly that’s the best way to describe this film. A charming tragedy that slowly unfolds. And while you’re caught up in all the antics and shenanigans of these wacky characters, everything is slowly building up to this devastating ending that hasn’t left my mind since.

  This is Dune for the real Gleeks among us. 

  Wow. I was skeptical about the whole “part 1” aspect. And while yes it did drag a bit at the start. Once the plot picks up it’s pure magic. It reminds me why so many people fell in love with this musical, for it to be such a cultural phenomenon some 20 years after it first premiered.

  My legs are long asf rn

  The first two thirds I was genuinely uneasy. Very rarely does a horror film get to me but this managed to do it. 

  However I think the ending was just okay. Wasn’t a dealbreaker I was just expecting a bit more given the incredible imagery and pacing of the rest of the film. Might need a rewatch.
