Handsome Devil 2016
Full of heart, but not tightly written. Lacking in character and relationship development especially for a story about finding your voice and being yourself with the help of your friends. Inconsistent attempts at playful camera work and blocking, but still well directed. Very 2010s in style, reminiscent of Geography Club and Struck by Lightning.
