Django Unchained 2012
Christopher Nolan defies expectations by unchaining Django in the first few minutes of the film, awakening a deep desire in the audience to ascertain what the rest of the movie could possibly be about. Juxtaposing this, he is later rechained causing great confusion in the watcher as to why the film is not titled ‘Django Rechained’. However, Chrissie Nono promptly refutes this thought by unchaining the titular lead once more, allowing the tension in the audience to finally relax knowing that the piece of cinema is appropriately named.
