beautifully made and an important story, but the way it was told made it hard to follow, and i found that frustrating.
i am all for films making viewers think critically about what they are watching, but i feel it was a disadvantage in this case. the story was too important for all the ambiguity

i don’t know how i felt about this, except that i wanted more. i went into this with such high expectations and i liked it but didn’t love it. perhaps it’s because im not a character study girlie or maybe i missed some things? i feel like TOO much was left up to interpretation,, sean baker give me SOMETHING girl
igor was my fav and his dynamic with ani saved the film for me but also why should a man be the most likable character in a story about a woman??
