This movie encompasses everything I enjoy from all of Lynch’s previous work, he was a master at his craft and his style is extremely effective at conveying emotions. I will always admire the care he had for showing the good in people regardless of the darkness that can be found within.

I find all the characters fun and well played, under written at times but they work harmlessly.
I love this type of movies from the 2000’s and their simple yet serviceable plots that center around a series of quirky ideas. I feel that older generations of film enjoyers dislike these because of the cheer amount of them trying be a Spike Jonze movie missing the depth and cleverness and just keeping the weird in-universe gags. For me it’s different since I grew up in that era when my silly kid brain didn’t know any better and could be pleased easily.
