  The relationship between moral panics and isolation is so real to me. Even though they don’t fully delve into a conversation around the satanic panic, there’s an overarching paranoia, desire to protect one’s family at any cost, and eventual complete isolation that lee and her mother experience, all at the behest of satan himself.
