No punch pulled depiction of the ambiguity of violence under the obligation of authority and justice. A brilliant work of Vijay Tendulkar in writing and Govind Nihalani in direction, was stupendously spearheaded by Om Puri n front of the lenses. Also, a flawless editing by Renu Saluja is worth noting.

The film has a strong take on the various shades of the role of police without outright declaration of right and wrong. Its a tale of the unforgiving, labyrinthine structure of a corrupt system where individual ideals are rendered worthless to the point that there is no escape under an illusion of freedom.

Gints Zilbalodis gave a profound piece of work, filled with the essence of life and the concurrent compilations. The impeccable artwork made the characters delicately speak out every rail of thoughts without any anthropomorphic features. Impressive.

Nadine Labaki wrote a mundane, not so happening story and turned it into an unexpectedly eye pleasing and mesmerizing presentation with her powers of imagination. One can't possibly ignore the enticing doe-eyes of Labaki among a spectre of emotions beautifully portrayed by her. The idea of putting out a story about the lives of four ladies touching various aspects of feminine emotions and the societal challenges faced by them is worthy of appreciation in itself.

The film is more like "What if John Hayes wrote Rear Window during the lockdown out of boredom and lack of action in life". Apart from fine cinematography, music and editing, there is nothing great to watch. The movie lacks plot lines and works around typical thriller cliches. The acting was poor, and the character development was atrocious, therefore making it intolerable to watch. Overall, the movie turns out to be worse by the end of the anti-climax and thus, a waste of time.
