waited nearly a decade to rewatch this.
there’s something transcendental about experiencing your favourite movie ever again as an adult. i’ve lived so many lives since watching it the first time, and hearing that first note when “cornfield chase” began… a gush of every emotion i’ve felt and repressed in the past 10 years hit. and it kept flowing throughout all the 2 and half hours of it. and that’s a kind of intimacy i can and will only ever get from interstellar.
