  I am very curious to know what was the thought process in making this.

  Noémie Merlant debut is a "romance" between a 30ish year old engaged woman and a 17 year old Romani boy? excuse me?

  The first half really got me thinking that this was an homage to Romani culture, so i was liking it, then the romance started it and got me shocked.

  Not only that, this movie has no identity whatsoever, tries so much to be this edgy french film, but it's just not it.
  I was so excited for this, now i'm just disapponted in Merlant.

  As an italian this film feels VERY italian, some people might find it boring but I personally enjoyed it very much.

  The worst thing about this film is Riccardo Scamarcio oh.my.god. since when he sucks this much? The scene when he cries, it probabily was meant to be emotional, but it was almost funny to me since Scamarcio's performance was so bad, specifically in this one scene.
  Thank god the cast saves itself with Alba Rohrwacher and Margherita Buy 'cause they are fantastic.

  This film is simple, real, funny at times, sad at times, very enjoyable.
