Bong asked us all what would happen if you mixed Okja with Snowpiercer

Mickey 17 has all the unhinged characters and dystopia of Snowpiercer with a some more quirky comedy bits and a slightly pathetic but very lovable protagonist. Mark Ruffalo is brilliant as Trump-lite, almost reminiscent of his grotesque Poor Things character.

The greatest delight that Lisa Ann Walter was in this film!

Full disclosure I watched this movie because I keep seeing a monologue of Susan Sarandon in this film on my reels and it makes me smile every time.

It’s mostly a meh film but a nice easy enjoyable watch. I couldn’t tell you the genre or who this is made for but it’s not bad, it’s just maybe a bit weird in that nothing of substance really happens, but…
