This film is genuinely in my top 10 of all time. I enjoy a good subtle film as much as the next person, but for a movie that was so in your face about what it was trying to say, there was still so much nuance and so much to discuss. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children 2005
Guilty pleasure movie. Is it good? Hard to say. It looks pretty, the soundtrack calls back to the music from the game, the designs are wonderful and my autism is thriving. Anyone I have watched this with that wasn't obsessed with the games was either confused or bored, which is shocking cause the action alone should be very cool even with no background knowledge. 10/10, have watched 20+ times and will watch again. Bluray version with extended footage is better…
