Devastating and terrifying.
Hard to know where to begin but this film was creepy and scary from the opening credits and that continued through to the final credits. I believe films and plays should strive to transport the audience into the world of the story as soon as possible and hold you there throughout. Hard to say that I admire that this film did that when it was such a nightmare.

This is a gentle, slowly unfolding romance movie. It is full of longing without being full of regret. It is achy without being heartbreaky. It ends just as it should. There are no surprises and few plot turns. The movie is something like sitting on a riverbank for two hours and watching the current closely. Without focusing on anything else, a gentle current transforms into something dynamic and alive.
