  It’s nice to see studios taking chances on original book adaptations instead of milking sequels and prequels. Mickey 17 delivers a fantastic plot, although it shifts away from the book’s focus on “multiples” but it still nailed the execution. Robert Pattinson’s range is unreal; hard to believe this is the same guy who played Batman. Mark Ruffalo’s character feels like what happens when you give a conspiracy theorist a government budget and zero oversight.

  Will Ferrell gives one of his best performances in this masterfully made story. Harold's fate is more deeply affected by the wristwatch than by the narrator, which makes for a brilliant conclusion. Well-scripted, masterfully done, one of the most original movies of its kind.
