I love Isabelle Adjani’s thousand yard stare, almost like she’s seeing everything for the first time. Innocently unsettling.
The rat budget must’ve been insane.
Side note: Orlok needs to put us on to his nail tech, she had to be booked and busy. No vacation days in sight.
Don’t get me wrong, this movie isn’t good. There’s tons wrong with it, so much misused potential.
HOWEVER, it’s just the right amount of camp for me not to care. Cunty costume design, hilariously tacky, and a decent social commentary on capitalism + the healthcare industry.
I can’t say I’ll never watch it again because I’d be lying.
