  Broke my no biopic rule to see this one. And so, as far as biopics go, this one isn’t bad. I think the portrayal of Joan Baez is pretty reductive. Drink every time there’s a long shot of a lady looking wistfully at Bob Dylan from far away. Yeah this movie doesn’t do the women in his life justice as much as it thinks it does. Nevertheless, I thought Timmy did a great job and I am now #dylanpilled. Nothing has made me want a cigarette so bad.

  GOD I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!! it has all of the best features of a great romcom: friends to lovers, a man that’s a hopeless romantic, a woman dating a complete dirtbag, a grave misunderstanding  that almost dooms the relationship, an utterly implausible plot towards the end, main character who’s an orphan but it’s like not really part of the plot, surprisingly funny musical sequences, best friends of the main characters who are annoying but lovable and also end up together,…
