    ★★★

Vidaamuyarchi is a slow-burning thriller that’s highly technical and visually refreshing especially seeing AK in a pure genre-specific film.🔥 The AK, Trisha, and Arjun combo works well, and the rest of the cast delivers solid performances. Anirudh’s music and BGM variations add to the experience. Magizh🫡 deserves credit for staying true to the genre, and the car sequence is commendable. It’s great to see AK in a film without over-the-top moments or high-pitched dialogues. However, the lack of intensity in key moments made it feel flat at times. Overall, it’s a different and pretty good addition to AK’s filmography. 👍

    ★★★½

Kudumbasthan is a relatable story about a middle-class man’s struggles, told with humor. The first half is fun with a good interval twist, but the second half feels a bit boring until the pre-climax brings back the energy. Manikandan is excellent as always, and the casting fits perfectly, especially with the Coimbatore slang. The music and cinematography are good too. Overall, it’s a decent family entertainer with some great fun moments!

A gripping prison crime drama with a perfect cast that works brilliantly. The background score and cinematography elevate the scenes, adding depth to the story. While it had the potential to be exceptional, it falls short by not fully capitalizing on its high moments. Still, with strong narration and solid performances, it’s a decent and engaging watch in theaters!

Siva Karthikeyan as Major Mukund and Sai Pallavi as his wife, Indhu, both delivered outstanding emotional performances, bringing their characters to life beautifully. The romance in this film felt so genuine, pure, and heartfelt—a side of Siva’s movies I haven’t seen before. It was captivating from start to finish and truly resonated with me on a personal level. This movie felt close to my heart and hit all the right notes.
