Watching this I felt like the time skips were too distanced from each other, the jumps were too long, but it just felt right when the film ended. The long periods of time that we didn’t get to see were just as important as the ones we did, they intensified the only context we were given.
I guess the main problem for me was the challenge to find relations between the three phases, to see if the story lived…

Joker: Folie à Deux 2024
I actually think it’s genius to portray joker in a musical, and I quite enjoyed it during the first half of the film. And then the end fucked it all up. There was literally no reason to end it like that. They built up a plot, a shitty one too, and then flushed it down the toilet.
