  It's undoubtedly an important film and the ethos is so contained yet goes beyond time. However, it consistently falls a little short of becoming ageless as well- the way the characters speak mainly.

  There is one thing though that would be enduring for ages to come: it is Chitrangada Singh's presence.

  It's incredibly foolish and pretentious if you set up a visual mood-- like this film does-- only to make it a distraction from the hollowness that lies beneath. It magnifies the hollowness, in case you didnt know.
