  Deadpool & Wolverine 2024

  This was a SUPER fun watch! Each joke, reference, etc. landed and always made me laugh. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were a delight together and as individuals, I can see their real life friendship shine through. 

  With all that said, what made me the happiest (and I mean HAPPIEST. Big ass smile on my face and everything) was the cameo of Wesley Snipes as Blade. Oh man, my heart was singing!! He so deserved to have a moment in the light and as always he was a total badass. 

  Would definitely watch again and again!

  “Death IS my talisman.” 

  The first Bela Lugosi movie I watched outside of Dracula (1931) and it is a ton of fun. You can tell Lugosi had a ball with his role as Dr. Richard Vollin, an Edgar Allan Poe obsessed man who begins to have another obsession with the young Jean Thatcher, a woman he gave a life-saving operation to.   Halloween Ends 2022

  The supposed end to the Halloween franchise including our final girl Laurie Strode, played by the great Jamie Lee Curtis. 

  The beginning of the film felt like a slow burn to me, and up to the half way point I was getting extremely worried that this was pulling a full-blown Friday the 13th Part Five (if ya know, ya know) with the character of Cory. His character was definitely interesting, and thankfully my issues with him were resolved.
