I’m giving this movie 5 stars due to the incredible performances. Shirley Booth just ripped my heart out. Even though Burt is a bit young for the role of Doc, I thought he executed it perfectly. The story has a deceivingly simple plot about a middle aged couple, who are both broken emotionally, renting out a room to a pretty college student.
