not sure how to put in words how i felt, but watching this on the big screen was an experience. You feel the claustrophobia, how the characters struggle for freedom in the little space they are given, whether it is the forbidden couple, quietly meeting in dark basements or the solitary bathroom where you dream about the life that could be. Prabha finally accepting that she needs to let go of her husband and hence being able to accept anu's relationship. You can see how much it means to anu and her boyfriend, the actors do such an incredible job displaying their vulnerability.

there's some really funny moments and it's overall pretty entertaining, ryan gosling hype is real
EDIT: I've been switching between a 3.5 and 4 for this movie. Decided on 4 because seeing this in the theater with everyone dressed up nicely in pink definitely adds to the experience and deserves a .5 bump for that.
